I’ve taught A-Level Economics for nine years, both in school and privately. Most of my students come to me needing help with essays, so we spend plenty of time looking at how to turn economic theory into a properly argued answer. I’m particularly keen on macroeconomics and international trade. Nearer exams, lessons usually revolve around timed questions, diagrams and working out exactly where marks were lost.

Hi, I’m an Economics tutor with five years of experience teaching A-Level students online. I’m a bit of a current-affairs obsessive, which is useful when we get onto inflation, exchange rates and government policy. I like lessons to feel like a conversation rather than a lecture. We’ll usually tackle one tricky idea first, then see how it actually appears in an exam question and practise writing a strong response.

Before tutoring full-time, I worked in financial analysis, so I tend to bring quite a lot of real data and business examples into my A-Level Economics lessons. I’ve been teaching privately for six years and particularly enjoy microeconomics, market structures and labour markets. I’m quite precise when marking essays and will show students where their analysis stops short rather than simply giving them a mark and moving on.
